I have enjoyed container gardening in many different parts of the country where I have lived; from Connecticut to Ohio and now California. The reason I like to garden in containers is the flexibilty of beinging able to move these pots to various spots in the garden where color is needed. The most important hint is to feed these potted

I like to rotate various plants in front of our fountain. Here for the summer is an ivy geranium. A nice pop of color as you enter the courtyard.
