If you live in California or are visiting, I would suggest the Peasant Wine Bar. We found the food and wine to be great and the ambiance warm and cozy. Nice casual spot for dinner in Tarzana.
Harken back to the old west at a very unique place to brunch or dine. This is such a great visit to days of Old California.
Treat your body & soul to healthy, organic food at Cafe Gratitude. The selections are quite unusual but certainly something to explore even if you are not particularly interested in this type of Menu. It is part of the California experience.
I can not say enought about this wonderful place for breakfast, lunch or dinner. All the food is organically prepared and the setting is extremely charming. It is the perfect spot for children or in my case “grand children.” I love the attention to detail. A++ as far as I am concerned.
Yes, I love pizza but really good pizza and I think Stella Barra in Santa Monica, California is the best I have tasted in a long, long time. Watching these chefs prepare the pizza is a delight in itself but I have concluded that the best pizza is all in the dough. Puffy, crunchy and “nut like” make for an excellent pizza. I adore this pizza!
One of my favorite restaurants in LA is Pizzeria Mozza on Highland. What a treat to dine here. Every dish is superb. Try the squash blossoms they are so light and crunchy and the sausage pizza is a must with thinly sliced fennel. You are in for a treat.
